This is an editable tool that can be adjusted and translated. It illustrates some examples of democratic participation (including voting in elections), policy topics of special interest to young voters and their connection. Article on How to Boost Youth Participation Before Elections
This article shares inspiring practices, ideas and methods that encourage young people to participate actively and resources on how to support people of all ages understand better how the European Union works. These can be used by the staff of your NA for inspiration for your own events and also be shared with your beneficiaries.
This news piece lists various campaigns about the European Elections, pooling different initiatives that your National Agency and/or your beneficiaries can work together with and/or learn from, organised the European Parliament, Eurodesk, and other stakeholders.
To help audiences get informed in an interactive way, a little quiz with further links to election-related resources has been created. You can try the quiz yourself or with your colleagues, and share it with your target groups, for example, on a social media post about EU elections. Three different quizzes are available on the above link, so feel free to dive even deeper into democratic participation topics and SALTO PI’s work by playing!
The production of these resources results from several processed needs, including an open call for submission of resources for educators, analysis of needs collected at the NA Event in Brussels in January this year and work with experts.
