Call for facilitator/trainer
This call is intended to engage a Trainer / Facilitator for a Transnational activity titled “Climate Objectives: Enhancing Knowledge for Good-Quality KA2 Projects” that will be held between 9th-10th March 2026. The event is a contact seminar addressed to all sectors (SE, VET, HE, and AE), linked to the LTA Sustainability.
The focus of the activity is to address the Climate objectives under the Key action 2.
The main aim is to promote the Climate objectives, across all sectors, and increase the knowledge needed to manage a good quality KA2 project.
The seminar will be addressed to experienced organisations from all sectors who wish to develop their understanding on program rules under KA210 and KA220.
Expected Outcomes of the Seminar:
- Enhanced Understanding of Climate objectives for a good quality KA2 project implementation: Participants will gain insight into sustainability as a priority in Erasmus+, and how to integrate environmentally conscious choices into all phases of a project.
- Exchange of Good Practices: Attendees will share and learn from each other’s successful experiences and approaches.
- Identification of Common Challenges: Participants will collectively identify common difficulties faced across sectors in implementing Erasmus plans.
The participants leave the seminar with increased knowledge about climate and the environment, are more familiar with relevant tools and resources, green comp and climate adaptation. Participants will benefit from expert insights, inspiring examples of good practice, and the opportunity to exchange their own experiences and ideas on promoting sustainability within Erasmus+ projects.
The participants will be expected around 60 participants, including representatives of National Agency.
Profile of Facilitator/Trainer:
- Proven experience in designing, managing, and facilitating complex projects and strategic planning, specifically in the Education and Training sector
- Experience in green and sustainability topic
- Experience with KA2 projects
- Experience of producing reports into clear, strategic recommendations and actions
- Strong background in participatory methodologies
- Experience in-person facilitation
- Experience and knowledge of group dynamics, inclusive dialogue, and ensuring the participation of diverse voices
- Fluency in English
- Strong skills in strategic design of organisational processes and planning and/or group facilitation and participatory methodologies
- Skilled at navigating power dynamics, ensuring all voices are heard and respected.
- Experienced with strategic communication: crafting templates, summaries, and clear written outputs
- Ability to work collaboratively and adjust based on real-time feedback or emerging needs
- Organised and detail-oriented, with strong time and project management skill
Tasks and approximate timeline
The Trainer is required to:
- Participate in the methodological preparation of the content together with EUPA
- Provide Face-to-Face training that will be held in Malta between 09-10 March 2026
- Participate in the online preparatory meetings with the speakers, NA staff and facilitate a discussion to clarify roles, responsibilities, and expectations for the event
- Design a clear methodology, including proposed formats for the training and facilitation technique for this event.
- Develop the content, the agenda in collaboration with EUPA
- Recommend preparatory tasks for participants (such as reflection questions or pre-reading materials).
- Prepare the survey for the participants
- Deliver the Final Report and outcomes report within one month after the event, showing the description and main information of the activity, the outcomes and the evaluation results
- Deliver the outcomes report prepared to be published by EUPA
- Ensure that feedback received from participants is acknowledged and transparently presented in the follow up meeting
- Trainer (if applicable, who do not reside in Malta) are expected to arrive one day before the event to allow for preparation and coordination with the team.

Applications will be evaluated by the MTNA based on the following criteria:
- Relevant Expertise and Interest
- Only complete applications that clearly address the required questions will be considered. Incomplete applications, or those that fail to respond to the required questions, will not be evaluated.
- The detailed curriculum vitae in Europass format should highlight the academic qualification and experience related to the key area/s of competence.
