This TCA seminar invites secondary school (ISCED 2) and vocational (ISCED 3) teachers from Erasmus+ Programme Countries to explore, adopt, and practise the GreenComp competence framework. Through hands-on workshops and peer learning, participants will learn how to integrate GreenComp into their daily teaching and professional lives, thereby empowering young people to learn and live sustainably.

This activity supports the Erasmus+ horizontal priority “Environment & the fight against climate change”. It aligns with the LTA Sustainability and Greening aim to increase awareness of environmental and climate challenges across sectors, develop sustainability-relevant competences, promote green strategies and methods, and foster forward-looking curricula across the Erasmus+ programme.

By the end of the seminar, participants will be able to:

• Understand the GreenComp framework: its structure, rationale, and relevance for their teaching/training environment.
• Map their school or VET centre’s current practice against GreenComp and identify concrete opportunities for change.
• Exchange good practices, challenges, and success factors with peers from other countries and build partnerships for future Erasmus+ KA1/KA2 projects focusing on green competences.
• Align their follow-up actions and institutional approaches with the broader aims of the LTA GreenErasmus initiative—thus contributing to long‐term capacity building and moving from individual mobility to institutional transformation.

Teachers/trainers from the schooling (SCH) and vocational (VET) sectors working at ISCED 2 and ISCED 3 levels, who:

• are currently teaching/training learners aged approximately 12-19;

• they are motivated to embed sustainability and environmental literacy into their work;

• have an interest in developing and implementing GreenComp-oriented activities;

• are willing to act as multipliers or ambassadors of green competences and to contribute to their institution’s longer-term change process (in line with LTA GreenErasmus).
