TCA Description

The event will support the creation of a Manifesto to summarize the desirable and the feasible, the dream and the reality in a way where the competents, the creativity and the sensitivity of international students towards the crisis will be expressed in line with desirable solutions to it. The event will gather Higher Education (HE) students representatives from the E+ participating Countries.
The event is organized in partnership with the Italian Committee of the International Earth Day.
In this framework, participants will receive structured perspectives on the climate and ecological crisis by internationally recognized keynote speakers. They will provide the right inputs in order to make students cooperating to find mutual solutions for the analyzed problems.
The Climate Fresk (CF) will also be offered. CF is a collaborative workshop based on the IPCC reports. CF is a powerful tool for providing a quality climate education. It teaches the fundamental science behind climate change so to empower people to take action and build solutions.
After the scientific analysis of the framework, participants will be divided in working groups to work on solutions.
The work of the groups will be brought together in a final report, the Manifesto of the E+ Generation for the Earth, which will describe and highlight the entire journey of the young participants. The final document will offer a comprehensive summary of the activities carried out, the methodologies used, the reflections that emerged, and the proposals formulated by the students, providing a comprehensive overview of the learning experience and the contributions generated by the working groups.
