SALTOs for a quality Erasmus+ Programme in the field of Education and Training

Since 2018 only one SALTO Resource Centre was operating in the field of education and training. The European Commission has decided to establish additional SALTO centres to support the Erasmus+ programme in all the E&T sectors. The new resource centres will support the beneficiaries to implement the highest quality projects in the Erasmus+ programme.

The new SALTOs were established along the thematic priorities within the framework of certain national agencies to make the programmes more inclusive and diverse, more participatory, digital and greener. Which SALTO to turn to in which priority?

  • The SALTO Digital Resource Centre was set up at the Finnish National Agency and it is related to the digital transformation in the education, training and youth activities in the Erasmus+ programme and European Solidarity Corps, and the promotion of the EU strategies related to the theme, such as the Digital Education Action Plan 2021 –2027.
  •  The SALTO Inclusion and Diversity Resource Centre in the field of education and training was placed to the Croatian Agency for Mobility and Programmes of the European Union (AMPEU) and will support the priority topic of inclusion and diversity. It will work dedicatedly to create equal opportunities for all, to ensure the right to quality and inclusive education, training and lifelong learning.
  •  The SALTO Green transition and environmental sustainability Resource Centre is operating at the French Erasmus+ National Agency. Its aim is to provide support by creating educational materials and communication tools in order to better take the priority of environment and fight against climate change into account in the Erasmus+ Programme and European Solidarity Corps.
  •  The SALTO Participation and Information Resource Centre working in the field of E&T is the most recent resource centre. It was established at the Estonian National Agency and serves the Participation in democratic life, common values and civic engagement priority in the Erasmus+ Programme in order to foster people’s participation in democratic life, social and civic engagement through formal or non-formal learning activities.
Last, but not least our SALTO, the SALTO E&T TCA Resource Centre operates unchanged at the Hungarian National Agency to support Training and Cooperation Activities (TCAs) in order to be able to submit and implement projects financed by the Erasmus+ programme with the highest possible quality, and thereby improve the results of the Programme.
So please keep checking the events on the https://salto-et.net/ webpage for finding the most relevant TCA seminars.
