Creating contacts for accredited organisations 3.0
Summary of TCA outcomes
From 25 to 28 April, 113 people from 21 Erasmus program countries met in Helsingborg to participate in the seminar Creating Contacts for Accredited Organizations 2.0, an activity within long-term TCA for accredited projects.
A long-term TCA (Transnational training and cooperation activity within Erasmus+) runs over three years. It includes various activities in the participating countries. The final product should, for example, be a handbook or a tool to strengthen the organizations' work within the specific theme.
Both challenges and successes were addressed
The purpose of this particular event was to increase the capacity of organizations that have so-called VET, ADU and SCH accreditation in the Erasmus program countries. The Erasmus program (2021–2027) highlights the importance of the new accreditation model. Both experienced project owners and newly accredited organizations participated. Those who have been for a while told that they have faced challenges but also gave examples of good forms of cooperation and activities that took place during the ongoing project cycle.
Good ideas and appreciated study visits
Challenges, solutions, ideas, thoughts and experiences were exchanged during the three days of the seminar. The seminar also included study visits for the participants to ten accredited schools and organizations within the Scania region. It was much appreciated! Both the participants who visited and those who welcomed had a great benefit from the day. A guided tour of Helsingborg was also included.
When people meet, connections are made
The seminar in Helsingborg was a platform to not only share obstacles you face, but above all to have the opportunity to discuss solutions based on best practice. And when people meet, connections are made. The idea was also that those who had not yet found a partner for their accreditation would do so, and so it happened!
This was the fourth activity within Long Term TCA Work Package 4 of "Creating contacts between accredited organizations" organized by the Swedish national office.
Types of outcomes
Explain your choice(s)
From the reports so far I can see that people really met, things really happened, questions were answered - if not to one hundred procent at least to a very high rate, people could discuss and get answers, people collaborated and helped each other, contacts were made and already accredited organisations supported the newcomers. More outcomes will be presented when I have gone through all the answers from the evaluation forms.
The inputs from the keynotespeakers were also regarded as useful and important. Food for thoughts and for continued work. One of the aspects here or one of the objectives are to increase the quality in the accredited projects and this was a step towards higher quality. The agencies need to work with quality in already approved projects.
