This contact making seminar is tailored for post-primary schools, focusing on the powerful role Erasmus+ mobility plays in fostering students' active engagement in democratic life. Through this initiative, teachers will explore innovative, non-formal educational methods and cross-sectoral strategies that bring democratic values to life in the classroom and beyond.
Participants will:
- Discover how pupil mobility experiences supported by Erasmus+ can enrich the curriculum and deepen students’ understanding of democracy.
- Hear first-hand accounts from peers about their pupils’ Erasmus+ experiences and the impact on student participation.
- Build networks and partnerships, share best practices, and explore practical steps for integrating mobility-driven learning into their own schools.
This blended seminar combining both online and in-person elements will:
- Showcase how Erasmus+ funding for pupil mobility can complement and enhance curriculum delivery.
- Support schools in accessing funding and developing collaborative partnerships.
- Introduce non-formal and innovative educational approaches that promote active citizenship and democratic values in inclusive and accessible ways.
