Are you a post-primary language teacher? Would you like to job-shadow or teach in a partner school? Or perhaps you are interested in training abroad? Then join us for a study visit and thematic seminar that will inspire and inform you about the Erasmus+ opportunities available to your school. Besides opportunities for your own professional development, Erasmus+ offers support for school exchange partnerships. Meaningful exchange with peers, travel and real life interaction can do wonders for students' motivation to learn a foreign language. These personal experiences can also greatly improve students’ confidence (and pronunciation!). During this seminar, you will: • Get a better understanding of what Erasmus+ is and how it can support language learning and teaching • Visit Erasmus+ projects and hear from other teachers who have carried out European mobility projects about their experience • Understand how to apply for Erasmus+ and learn best practice when organising a European mobility project • Gain new ideas as well as understand the next steps in building European projects • Network and share with European language education colleagues • Meet potential partners for future projects.
