Digital readiness lab: enhancing digital transformation in Erasmus+ projects
Main Info
TCA Description
This TCA Erasmus+ seminar is dedicated to the programme’s strategic priority Digital Transformation. It focuses on embedding this priority into project development and implementation along with taking into account emerging trends in the field. The seminar supports participants in strengthening their projects’ digital dimension and applying it within KA1 projects and KA210 partnerships. Participants will learn how to integrate relevant digital approaches that clearly enhance learning, broaden participation and strengthen institutional capacity. The seminar places particular emphasis on developing digital skills, digital and AI literacy and competence progression, in line with Erasmus+ expectations related to digital readiness, resilience and capacity.
Given the rapid pace of technological change, the seminar will also address the expanding role of AI and data in education. Participants will be supported to integrate AI where it adds pedagogical value and to use AI and data responsibly, ethically and safely in line with European frameworks. Through concrete examples participants will get inspired to use approaches in the future work in Erasmus+ projects and activities.
At the same time, the seminar will demonstrate how Digital Transformation can be linked to the other Erasmus+ priorities in an authentic way: Inclusion and Diversity with a focus on AI-supported inclusive practices, Participation in democratic life through strengthened information and media literacy, particularly in an AI-shaped environment, and Environment and climate action by connecting digital learning to greener practices and future-oriented skills.
Participants will also learn how to use key European collaboration platforms, eTwinning and the European School Education Platform (ESEP), and EPALE, - to support partner search, project communication and dissemination and to strengthen project collaboration.
By the end of the seminar, participants will have:
identified pedagogically sound and meaningful ways to strengthen projects through the purposeful use of digital technologies;
applied strategies to build professional capacity, including digital skills development, digital and media literacy and AI literacy;
integrated AI and data-informed approaches where they add clear value to learning, participation and institutional capacity, in ethical, safe and transparent ways;
analysed institutional and project needs that can serve as a basis for future applications;
analysed how to integrate European platforms into their project plans as practical mechanisms for virtual cooperation and for sustaining project results beyond the funding period;
evaluated how to align Digital Transformation with inclusion and diversity, democratic participation through information and media literacy, and environment and climate action.
Selected participants are required to attend the seminar programme in full, from the opening session to the closing session. The Agency for Mobility and EU programmes (National Agency for Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps in Croatia) will cover three nights of hotel accommodation as well as meals provided during the seminar programme.
