PRIVACY NOTICE
Data processing in the context of SALTO, which supports the training and cooperation activities of National Agencies implementing the Erasmus+ programme of the European Commission
This privacy notice (hereinafter referred to as the 'Notice') is intended to inform data subjects about the processing of their personal data in relation to SALTO's (Support, Advanced Learning and Training Opportunities) activities and the data processing of the www.salto-et.net website, as well as their rights and legal remedies.
Regulation (EU) No 1725/2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data by the Union institutions, bodies, offices and agencies and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Regulation (EC) No 45/2001 and Decision No 1247/2002/EC, applies to the processing.
The Data Controller is the European Commission - Directorate-general for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture, Unit B.4 - Erasmus+ Coordination. The Tempus Public Foundation acts as a data processor on behalf of the data controller. Data subjects may exercise their data subject rights vis-à-vis the controller through the data processor.

2. Description of data processing
2.1 Purpose and legal basis of processing

* The Data Subject may object to the processing on the legal basis necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest by sending an e-mail to the e-mail address of the Processor as set out in point 1.
** The Data Subject may withdraw their consent at any time by sending an e-mail to the e-mail address of the Processor as set out in point 1., so this personal data must be deleted regarding this processing.
2.2 Categories of data subjects
A1: Registered persons on the www.salto-et.net website
A2: Employees of the National Agencies involved in TCA management
A3: Experts recommended by the National Agencies
A4: Persons who send messages to the helpdesk operators of the website via the message board
Please note that the provisions of this notice apply only to data relating to natural persons.
2.3 The categories of personal data processed
A1: Name, (work)e-mail address, username, password, contact number, sex, country of residence, sending National Agency / National Erasmus+ Office (NEO), sector.
A2: Name, (work)e-mail address, username, password, contact number, sex, National Agency / National Erasmus+ Office (NEO), sector, profile photo (optional)
A3: Data according to A1, intention to participate in face-to-face meetings (abroad), recommending National Agency / National Erasmus+ Office (NEO) and data on expertise / professional background. For example: introduction, professional profile, years of experience, key actions, sectors involved, references (e.g. on social media, website, videos) etc.
A4: Name, e-mail address, username, the content of the communication.
3. Persons entitled to access the data
The personal data of the Data Subjects can be accessed by persons who are employees of the Processor.
They have been given special data protection training and are bound by a confidentiality obligation with regard to the personal data they learn during their work.
Please note that the data available on the website can be exported in PDF and Excel format by registered and logged-in users.
4. Further details of the processing, such as:
- the retention periods for different types of data,
- the use of automated decision-making and profiling,
- the transfer of personal data to third countries or international organisations,
- your additional rights (right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, object) as a data subject,
- the technical and organisational measures in place to ensure the security of your data,

5. Legal Remedy:
The Data Subject may contact the Data Protection Officer of the Data Processor at the contact details provided in section 1 with any questions, comments or complaints regarding the processing of data. The Data Processor will provide the Data Subject with the requested information in writing, preferably by electronic means, as soon as possible, but no later than one month after receipt of the request. The procedure for the execution of reasonable requests is free of charge.
Furthermore, the Data Subject may lodge a complaint with the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (address: 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa u. 9.-11.; www.naih.hu) regarding the processing of their data. 1530 Budapest, Pf.)
A Data Subject may take legal action against the TKA if he or she considers that the TKA is processing his or her personal data in violation of the provisions on the processing of personal data laid down by law or by a binding legal act of the European Union.
