Summary of TCA outcomes
The TCA resulted in enhanced knowledge regarding the topic of internationalisation and international mobility within teacher training programmes in higher education, combined with strengthened professional networks among participants.
Participants were highly engaged, actively sharing best practices and lessons learned across a wide range of relevant topics. All presentations, except for the keynote session, were delivered by participants, which contributed to a strong sense of ownership and ensured a highly interactive and participatory environment.
Interactive participation was fostered through:
- Sharing of best practices and lessons learned
- Exchange of resources (presentations, tools, and frameworks)
- Group discussions focused on key themes such as:
- Internationalisation in teacher education
- Mobility strategies
- Inclusive and sustainable education practices
The seminar covered a variety of concrete topics through presentations and discussions, including:
- Practical strategies to strengthen horizontal priorities in teacher education, with a focus on increasing participation, inclusiveness, and sustainability
- Measures to improve the recognition of ECTS
- Use of eTwinning for future teachers
- Virtual exchange in teacher education
- Addressing challenges in initial teacher training through Erasmus+ opportunities
