This event aims to empower EuroApprentices by deepening their understanding of democratic processes within the European Union. Through visits to key EU institutions and interactive workshops, participants will explore the significance of active citizenship and the impact of disinformation on democratic societies.
Enhanced knowledge of EU democratic structures and processes.
Improved media literacy and critical thinking skills to identify and combat fake news.
Strengthened role as ambassadors promoting democratic participation among peers.
The event will take place from 25 to 27 October 2026.
The programme will begin on Sunday afternoon, 25 October, with a welcome session, networking activities, and a joint dinner, providing participants with an opportunity to get to know one another and kick off the event.
On Monday (26 October) and Tuesday (27 October), participants will visit key EU institutions, including the European Parliament and the Parlamentarium, where they will gain deeper insight into the functioning of the European Union and discuss the importance of active citizenship and civic participation.
The event will also bring together Erasmus+ ambassadors, representatives of the Erasmus Student Network (ESN), and National Agencies (NAs). It will provide a valuable platform for networking, exchanging experiences and good practices, and discussing innovative approaches to promoting the Erasmus+ Programme across Europe.
This event is intended exclusively for Vocational Education and Training (VET) learners who have previously participated in an Erasmus+ mobility and are already members of, or are interested in joining, the EuroApprentices initiative.

The Slovak National Agency will cover two nights of accommodation for all participants, as well as all programme-related costs, including excursions, meals, and the social programme. All the other costs (e.g. flight tickets to and from the event) will be covered by sending NAs.
Partners and participants
This activity is exclusively open to EuroApprentices – former Erasmus+ VET learners who act as ambassadors and role models for mobility and active citizenship in vocational education and training.
