Active Mobility: Civic Engagement in Adult Education

This is a networking and capacity-building event which will bring together key Erasmus+ mobility practitioners, in the field of adult education, to consider how to more effectively promote “Active Citizenship and Civic Engagement”, as a horizontal priority for Erasmus+. The event will be centred around five key elements for INSPIRATION (hearing from experienced professionals and practitioners), IDEATION (aligning programme-level ambitions with innovative development goals and institutional priorities for mobility), COLLABORATION (identifying partners for future mobility programmes and exchanges), PREPARATION (reflecting on Erasmus+ financing opportunities and expectations) and SHOWCASING (preparing short-videos and other resources to encapsulate future mobility partnerships and plans).
By the end of this networking and capacity-building event, participants will be able to:
- RECOGNISE Erasmus+ programme ambitions for promoting “Active Citizenship and Civic Engagement;
- COMPARE existing institutional practices with Erasmus+ goals and priorities for learners and staff mobility in the field of adult education;
- CREATE targeted programmes to effectively engage adult education learners and staff in actions that promote active citizenship and civic engagement.
During this event, participants will learn from experience whilst also working in groups of national and transnational peers, exchanging experiences, proposing innovations, and sharing future project and partnership ideas.
Partners and participants
New and experienced mobility practitioners working in the field of adult education and looking to build partnerships for future mobility programmes for learners and staff, with a particular focus on activities that promote active citizenship and civic engagement.
