TCA Description

Themes and goals:
The topic of the thematic seminar is CLIL – content and language integrated learning. We expect to welcome both newcomers and experienced teachers that use CLIL in their schools in order to be able to share expertise and knowledge regarding CLIL and exchange good practice in using CLIL among schools in Europe. The goal is also to develop participants’ skills to boost the application of CLIL in classrooms and to network participants on the subject of CLIL.
Expected results:

The expected results of the thematic seminar are following:

1. develop participants’ skills in using CLIL in their classrooms;

2. increase the impact of Erasmus+ projects dealing with CLIL;

3. exchange of good practice;

4. networking among participants that may result in future partnerships for Erasmus projects.

Profile of participants:
The seminar is open to participants from the fields of school education and vocational education and training. We expect to welcome staff of institutions that have a running Erasmus+ project regarding CLIL (KA101, KA201, KA202, KA229) and they can be both coordinators as well as partners in their projects. The participants are expected to be teaching at primary or secondary schools where CLIL is used, regardless of the languages used in CLIL. However, the working language of the thematic seminar is English.
