TCA Description
Themes and goals:
At this conference on the topic of initial teacher education, the measures and examples of good practice will be presented on how to attract teachers to the profession and to overcome the lack of staff. The question of the attractiveness of the profession will be discussed as well as the question of intersectoral cooperation between HEIs and schools and the possibility of improving initial education by building connections to the pre-university education of future teachers.
Expected results:
At the event, participants will:
- learn about different national policies, mechanisms and incentives for tackling the lack of staff and attracting people to the teaching profession
- get acquainted with European initiatives related to initial education
- exchange ideas and good practices, network and explore possibilities for cooperation on projects
Additional information:
Serbian National Agency provides 2 nights of accommodation for participants coming from abroad, on October 29/30 and 30/31. Arrivals are expected on October 29, the programme starts on October 30 at 10.30h, and finishes with lunch on October 31.
