Participation in civic engagement and Green actions
Main Info
TCA Description
This activity is linked to the LTA TCA "PEACE," coordinated by Italy. More information can be found HERE.
In Cluj-Napoca, the Romanian National Agency (RO NA) will create a space and context for sharing national and international best practices on civic engagement. The focus will be on the management of actors supporting work within civic engagement and democratic life, one of the four horizontal priorities for the EU Erasmus+ 2021-2027 program, as well as addressing the “green” priority.
The activity in Cluj-Napoca will facilitate further dialogue and development on these proposed themes and will focus on the work with Erasmus+ ambassadors and Erasmus+ Role Models, examining the impact of these activities on participation in democratic life. The agenda will include keynotes, short training courses, group activities, and study visits to local organizations.
As a sustainable approach, on the last day of the seminar, each national delegation will create its own green corner by participating in a planting session.
The goal of this LTA is to strengthen European identity and sense of belonging through civic engagement dissemination activities. Therefore, the specific seminar in Romania will align with this objective by aiming to:
- Create synergies among networks of Erasmus Alumni and Ambassadors to improve communication about Erasmus+.
- Spread awareness of European opportunities among citizens.
- Encourage newcomers' participation through real-life Erasmus experiences.
- Raise awareness within the network about the challenges facing the European Union and the active role of EU citizenship.
A specific sub-topic of the activity in Romania will address sustainability and the importance of green approaches at the community level, within organizational activities, and at an individual level.
All accommodation costs (in single rooms), meals, and training costs will be covered by RO NA. Travel costs should be covered by the sending National Agency.
Arrival day: April 8, 2025 (before dinner). Activity days: April 9, 10, and 11 (the activity will conclude in the afternoon). Departure can be planned for April, 12.
