This international contact seminar focuses on strengthening the key competences related to civic education of adult learners, with a particular emphasis on the KA2 Erasmus+ priority Common values, civic engagement, preparedness and participation.  Through networking, exchange of best practices, the event aims to support Erasmus+ new initiatives focused on fostering civic engagement among adults. Specifically, it offers an opportunity for adult education practitioners to meet potential partners, build strong partnerships, and collaborate on initiatives that empower adult learners to actively participate in democratic life. Participants will be encouraged to share experiences, explore new ideas and begin shaping future KA2 Erasmus+ adult education projects aligned with the topic of participation in democratic life, civic engagement, common European values, preparedness, etc.

Setting up at least 8-10 Erasmus+ Adult Education Partnerships (KA2-ADU) among European organisations active in non-vocational adult education.

Organisations and institutions staff supporting non-vocational adult education especially in the area of active citizenship and preparedness, who:

• are interested in preparing/submitting an Erasmus+ KA2 small-scale or cooperation partnership in adult education field focused on Erasmus+ participation priority
•  are looking to meet new partners for future KA2-ADU partnerships in this thematic area (incl. participation in democratic life, civic engagement, common European values, preparedness etc.)
