Strategic use of Erasmus+ for local and regional authorities
Main Info
TCA Description
This seminar brings together school authorities at the municipal level to explore how Erasmus+ can be used in a purposeful and strategic way to support development in the education sector.
Throughout the programme, participants will map their own starting points and explore how international cooperation can be integrated into existing structures for school and organisational development. By examining needs, challenges, and opportunities from multiple angles, the seminar strengthens participants’ ability to align Erasmus+ with local priorities and to use the programme more effectively as a tool for improvement.
Through a combination of input and discussions, participants gain inspiration, practical tools, and concrete ideas for applying Erasmus+ more strategically in their local development work.
The goal is for everyone to leave with clear ideas, renewed motivation, and concrete next steps for advancing their strategic Erasmus+ work within their municipalities.
- Insight into a model for the strategic use of Erasmus+, including the core components and practical approaches that support school authorities in integrating the programme into their existing development structures
- Opportunity to examine the needs and development challenges faced by school authorities, and to understand how these factors may shape their engagement in Erasmus+.
- Improved understanding of Erasmus+ opportunities for school authorities, and how these can support local priorities.
- Concrete ideas and next steps for how school authorities can turn insights into practical action.
