TCA Description

Themes and goals:
To help HEIs in developing their synergies and strategies in order to attract students and staff to undergo a mobility to HEIs in partner countries. The main objectives:·         Provide opportunities for the sharing of knowledge, good practices and experiences related to different aspects of KA107 mobility projects, particularly, but not limited to, the development of high quality internationalisation strategies; ·         Analyse HEI’s approach to the development of internationalisation strategies. An insight on the additional challenges faced by smaller HEIs will also be provided;·         Explore the ways and means through which HEIs can ensure that the selection of partner countries fits their respective internationalisation strategies, as well as the internationalisation strategies of the partner countries, and  how to reinforce cooperation with said partner countries; ·         Analyse the ways and means of how to successfully tap into different budget envelopes;·         Analyse how to set more ambitious targets for future calls; ·         Analyse how to measure the outcomes of such projects, and their impact on both the applicant HEIs and the partner countries; ·         Provide opportunities for networking.
Expected results:
Participants should expect to grasp a better understanding of KA107, especially the development of high quality internationalisation strategies, which reflect the objectives of the applicant HEIs, as well as those of the partner countries. The focus on the sharing of experiences should also enable participants to gather new ideas. To this effect, the ultimate aim of this TCA is to help participants develop successful applications for future calls. There will be also time for networking.
