Inclusion in practice - Promoting mobility and partnerships for and with people with disabilities

This is primarily a contact seminar which aims at bringing together organisations, from across Europe, that are active in the field of adult education and more specific in the disability sector interested in applying for a future KA1 mobility project or a small-scale partnership. The event will provide an opportunity to meet with other providers from the host country whilst promoting future projects that can increase the participation of in Erasmus+ mobility (including among adults with fewer opportunities), especially those mobility projects that encourage inclusion among adult learners and which promote the recognition of learning and experience acquired during a mobility period.
Furthermore, participants
- will be introduced in the Erasmus+ programme and the possibilities in mobility and partnerships (objectives, funding, regulation,etc.)
- will increase their network and work together to explore future partnerships or mobilities between their organisations
- can follow key notes on the topic of inclusion in E+ and the disability sector.
Study visits will be foreseen in cooperation with local providers or experts in the disability sector.
By the end of this contact seminar participants:
- will be inspired to create new mobility partnerships and networks in which they will play a role as either a sending or receiving institution in a future or running KA1 project.
- develop new partnerships with adult education organisations in the disability sector interested in cooperation towards similar targets
- can create or expand their local and European network
- have strengthen their knowledge from the invited experts, the study visits and each other.
- Co-organisation with Belgian and German NA’s and partners (associations, network, experts, etc.)
- Participants should have a satisfactory level of English to participate actively in the event
Applications will be submitted through SALTO
Partners and participants
Participants can be experienced Erasmus+ or mobility practitioners or total newcomers.
All should be operational in the field of adult education and active in the disability sector.
