TCA Description

Themes and goals:

Title: Thematic seminar from the project idea to the project proposal.

Additional theme: To train and build cooperations between organisations from European German speaking areas to improve the implementation of the ERASMUS+ programme in their country.

Topics: Project & proposal development, application writing, linking project idea with Erasmus+ priorities, evidence based needs analysis, defining SMART objectives, formulation of project structure and qualitative/quantitative (RACER) indicators, sharing best practice ideas, capacity building in impact and dissemination, networking and collaboration, financing rules and budgeting, finalizing an application in Erasmus+ online.

Format: Workshop / seminar with group work and networking activities. This seminar will cover impulse lessons and group work sessions with presentation.
The work groups can be built either in preparation to the seminar or at the beginning of the seminar. Cross sectoral work groups are welcome!

The overall aim of this TCA is to increase the impact of the Erasmus+ programme and ensure that institutions and organisations from the German speaking regions in Europe actively engage in in the key action 2 Cooperation Partnerships within the SCH, VET, ADU, HED and YOU sectors. This contact seminar has a cross-sectoral focus and invites the participation of current and future beneficiaries from School Education (SCH), Vocational Education and Training (VET), Adult Education (ADU) and Higher Education (HED) as well as the private sector. Additionally, we aim to involve organisations that are active in YOUTH as well. It further aims to promote cooperation partnerships, provide support to potential applicants in terms of idea-thinking and project development, build on the target groups’ knowledge about KA2 and provide a platform from which stakeholders from different educational sectors can connect, share experiences and establish networks within. The TCA is highly recommended for newcomers and less experienced applicants and for people who are interested in developing their application writing skills to a top level.

ATTENTION: The working language at the TCA is German!

Expected results:

From the participant’s perspective: Participants can bring their own project ideas or work together on another or a fictitious project idea. They will go through the stages of proposal preparation and learn about the key elements of a successful project proposal. By the end of the course, participants will have prepared all the elements to complete and submit a project proposal.

Further output will be: Increased awareness of the opportunities provided in cooperation partnerships. A deeper knowledge of how to develop project ideas based on institutional and regional needs; provide networking opportunities with potential projects partners; platform for the exchange of ideas and good practices; promotion and dissemination of successful projects; increase crosssectoral collaboration between SCH, VET, ADU, HED and YOU; potentially develop the foundation for further collaboration and a project plan.

From the organizing NA’s perspective: Complete course to cover the initial phase of an Erasmus+ project lifecycle with a focus on KA220 partnership projects.
