TCA Description

Themes and goals:

This two-day training is designed for adult educators who are interested in anti-racism practices and innovative approaches in working with groups on topic of racism and discrimination. Led by two experts in the field of non-formal Adult Education Zoryana Pshyk, Community Connector at Maynooth University Access Programme and Lilian Nwanze Akobo, Associate Lecturer, Department of Adult and Community Education, Maynooth University.

The hands on and practical sessions will equip participants with the tools to integrate anti-racism actions into their work through creative methodologies and will enhance their abilities to design and conceptualize non formal activities that address issues experienced by marginalised groups.

During this training participants will work together to re-think anti-racism practices, and to find new way of engaging with groups to create a space for dialogue about their experiences and day to day reality, with the hope to develop project concepts for Erasmus+ international mobility projects.
