TCA Description

Themes and goals:

This is an action-based learning and exchange event for individuals looking to improve capacity and understanding of what a high-quality needs analysis should comprise in Erasmus+. The focus will be on Erasmus Key Action 2 and Cooperation Partnerships, but knowledge and insights will be easily transferable to other contexts. ALIGN E+ is open to participation from existing beneficiaries, as well as those looking to apply to Erasmus+ in the future, with participants welcomed from the fields of adult, higher, school and vocational education. Plenary inputs will be complemented by field-based and multi-field groupwork and exchanges, through an action-based learning approach.

Activities:

During this event, participants will be prompted to consider needs from a programme, field-based and multi-field perspective, reflecting on the scope, extent, quality and sufficiency of needs analysis in Erasmus+, on transnationality and proportionality, and on needs analysis methods and tools that are relevant to Erasmus+ and Cooperation Partnerships.

Expected results:

By the end of this exchange, partnership and capacity-building event, participants will be able to:

  • RECOGNISE the expectations of Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnerships for proposals based on a genuine and adequate needs analysis;
  • COMPARE insights and expectations across different educational fields, to determine the expected scope, extent, quality and sufficiency of needs analysis activity in Erasmus+;
  • CREATE a credible and convincing needs analysis within future Erasmus funding applications, particularly within Key Action 2 Cooperation Partnerships.
