This international networking event aims to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange in higher education by bringing together key stakeholders in the quality enhancement of teaching and learning in EHEA countries. The event seeks to strengthen cooperation and exchange of knowledge and experience, fostering dialogue between policymakers, institutions, professional organizations and educators at both national and European levels.
A primary focus will be on how EHEA policy goals can be implemented in the everyday practice of higher education institutions and teachers. Another key objective is to support the capacity building of HEIs and the professional development of HE teachers, by presenting the freely available PROFFORMANCE toolkit comprising the complex and comprehensive assessment tool for teachers’ performance, the teaching excellence database and the PROFFROMANCE short courses. The event will showcase innovative teaching and learning practices, encouraging the adoption of new methodologies to enhance education quality.
The event will concentrate on discussing how HE stakeholders can contribute to EHEA and Erasmus+ objectives, by enhancing digital and green transformations, promoting interconnectedness, and bolstering international cooperation, inclusion, and diversity. All PROFFORMANCE products are aligned with these priorities, emphasizing a student-centred approach which aim to support HEIs and educators in this journey. Through structured discussions and networking opportunities, participants will establish valuable connections, fostering long-term collaboration and impactful partnerships.
The event will enhance engagement within and beyond the PROFFORMANCE+ community, foster new partnerships, and strengthen collaboration between policymakers, institutions, and professional organizations. It will generate new cooperation opportunities, provide opportunities to get to know best practices, support policy alignment in EHEA countries and contribute to the long-term sustainability of initiatives that advance teaching excellence and institutional.

The PROFFORMANCE Consortium announce an opportunity for HE professionals to join the PROFFORMANCE Institutional Ambassador Network.
The PROFFORMANCE Institutional Ambassador Network is an international community of higher education professionals promoting the use of PROFFORMANCE tools, supporting institutional implementation, and fostering collaboration and exchange of good practices across Europe.
Who is eligible to join by expressing interest?
Staff authorised by their higher education institution to enhance teaching and learning quality—heads of T&L centres, QA or HR teams, curriculum designers, programme leaders.

Those who register may participate in the pilot testing the PROFFORMANCE Assessment tool https://tool.profformance.eu/.
The testing period is by end August.
- Participation
Those who make the testing may be selected to participate at the PROFFORMANCE Simulation Game – Stakeholder meet-up to be held 16 october 2025, in Budapest.
For selected participants costs can be fully or partly covered, depending ont he number of applicants and the engagement.

Partners and participants
Participation in the event will be primarily limited to a group closely involved in the EHEA project and the PROFFORMANCE+ community, including partners, experts, awardees, and Institutional PROFFORMANCE Ambassadors (IPAs). This ensures a focused and productive environment for collaboration while allowing key stakeholders to contribute effectively.
