Strengthening Interoperability and Strategic Cooperation with European Partners: Perspectives and Experiences on the ESCI Framework
Main Info
TCA Description
THIS CALL FOR PROPOSALS IS OPEN ONLY TO PARTICIPANTS FROM FRANCE (FR01), ITALY (IT02) AND SPAIN (ES01).
Following the consultation with NTT Data, which concluded on April 10th, we are currently awaiting the final results. However, it is already clear that the main challenges no longer lie in identifying technical solutions, but rather in the practical implementation with partners, the alignment of practices, and the varying levels of operational readiness and engagement across institutions.
Given the strategic importance of these exchanges, it is essential to ensure that our digital processes operate smoothly and reliably. In this perspective, we must build the future together and consolidate our cooperation.
This TCA provides an opportunity for higher education institutions to move from implementation to consolidation, and to reinforce interoperability and reliability between their systems and those of their European partners. At a time when HEIs are expected to reach high levels of digital maturity, including the shared target of a 95% digitalisation rate, institutions face shared challenges related to coordination, alignment of practices, and effective cooperation within the EWP framework
The TCA targets exclusively HEIs with over 300 SMS completed and facing digitalisation difficulties (less than 60% rate)
Participating in this TCA will allow HEIs to:
- Share concrete experiences regarding the operational use of digitalised IIAs, OLAs, and other ESCI components in real partnership contexts.
- Align practices and expectations with key partner countries to ensure smoother mobility flows.
- Strengthen interoperability by improving mutual understanding of how systems interact within the EWP network and by reinforcing day-to-day cooperation between institutions.
- Move beyond technical deployment towards full operational adoption and strengthen mutual trust between partners.
- Engage directly with key stakeholders (including, if they agree, IT providers and European services) to clarify responsibilities and ensure coherent implementation.
- Consolidate a stable and sustainable digital cooperation ecosystem for the next phase of the programme.
THIS CALL FOR PROPOSALS IS OPEN ONLY TO PARTICIPANTS FROM FRANCE (FR01), ITALY (IT02) AND SPAIN (ES01).
This TCA is designed to help institutions move from isolated efforts to coordinated progress, ensuring that digitalisation becomes a reliable, efficient, and shared reality across Europe.
THIS CALL FOR PROPOSALS IS OPEN ONLY TO PARTICIPANTS FROM FRANCE (FR01), ITALY (IT02) AND SPAIN (ES01).
