Main Info
TCA Description
TITLE: Thematic seminar on apprenticeship mobility in Europe: building cooperation between European apprentices training providers to foster the placement of apprentices in European mobility schemes (2nd edition)
Apprentices’ European mobility benefits from a favorable context at a European level. European Member States are encouraged to tackle the subject through the launch of various strategic initiatives such as the establishment of a European Education Area, the “Europe on the Move” Council Recommendation and the 2nd General Assembly on Mobility of Apprentices, in Brussels in April 2024. One of the major challenges arising from these European initiatives is to strengthen the capacity of organizations to set up and implement quality mobility projects.
The successful TCA on apprenticeship and work-based learning mobility in Europe that took place in Bordeaux, France, on November 2023, 13th - 15th gathered nearly 140 participants. It allowed constructive discussions, both at the institutional and operational levels for vocational training organizations across Europe.
Given this success, the French Agency, in collaboration with Euro App Mobility (EAM), decided to organize a second edition of this TCA with new participants involved, in order to continue the discussion on the topic.
