Title : Thematic seminar on apprenticeship mobility in Europe: building cooperation between European apprentices training providers to foster the placement of apprentices in European mobility schemes.

Format : thematic seminar with networking activities 

French partner This seminar will be co-organized with EuroAppMobility (Euro App Mobility is a non-profit association, founded in 2020 to develop international mobility of apprentices and trainees.

Thematic : Apprenticeship mobility in Europe

Goals :

-         To allow a better knowledge of the apprenticeship systems in Europe ;

-         To consolidate and/or develop partnerships between European apprenticeship training organisations ;

-         To connect apprenticeship networks leaders for Erasmus+ mobility and partnerships projects;

 

-         To help find work placement for learning abroad.

This thematic seminar is open to stakeholders engaged in apprenticeship mobility schemes under Erasmus+ VET sector as well as to those engaged in Erasmus+ HE sector (EQF level 3 to 7).

Additional information:
1. Welcome in Bordeaux!
The seminar will be held in a famous 4* hotel, located not far from the river Garonne and a 10-minute walk from the heart of the city : 

You will stay at the same location from the evening of 12 November until after lunch on 15 November (nights, breakfasts, lunches and dinners will be all included, covered by the agency FR01)

All participants are expected to arrive on Sunday 12 November (late afternoon/evening) for a start of activities on Monday morning. 
The planned activities require the presence of all participants until Wednesday 15 November 2023 (lunchtime) 

On the evening of 13 November 2023, a cocktail reception is planned. 

2. Travel to Bordeaux
You can reach Bordeaux from Paris by the TGV high-speed train line: Paris-Montparnasse station to Bordeaux Saint-Jean station.

It's possible too to land at Bordeaux-Mérignac airport (international airport) either directly from your country or by transit from Paris. 
The main Paris-Bordeaux flights are operated from Paris Charles de Gaulle airport (CDG) to Bordeaux Mérignac airport (BOD) by Air France (44 flights per week). Allow 1h10 flight time. 

On arrival at Bordeaux-Mérignac airport, you can take the 30'direct shuttle which will take you to Bordeaux Saint-Jean railway station. Look at the departure time sheet. About 8 euros for a single trip, 30 minutes.

4. Meals and accommodation covered by French Agency for ALL participants (NA staffs & external participants)
  • 3 nights in a single room from 12 to 15 November 2023 ;
  • 3 breakfasts from 13 to 15 November 2023 ;
  • 3 lunches from 13 to 15 November 2023 ;
  • 2 aperitif dinners on 13 and 14 November 2023 : cocktail reception on 13 November & on 14 November, there will be a French aperitif followed by a free evening.
  • Please note: dinner on Sunday 12 November to be paid for by each sending agency (not covered by FR01 agency)
5. IMPORTANT 
Participants are expected on Sunday 12 November in the late afternoon (from 5:00 p.m.- check in). 
Departure is scheduled for Wednesday 15 November after lunch  (from 2:00 p.m.). 
Travel arrangements should be made accordingly to avoid arriving after the start of the TCA and leaving before the end.

The public-target of the participants is already beneficiaries and demultipliers that want to consolidate their mobility offer rather than newcomers organisations in Erasmus+.

By 'demultiplers' we mean heads of consortia and networks, who coordinate KA1 projects on behalf of several institutions, such as apprenticeship training centres.
