Aim and approach:
To promote complementarity between actors of formal and non-formal educational sectors towards a more inclusive society, and to improve the impact of our educational processes by using Non Formal Education principles and approaches, as well as create empowerment opportunities for our people involved in adult education.
This training course is not only based on a ‘one way information-flow’ but requires a pro-active and committed participation from the members. The TCA is not limited to the couple of days the participants spend together but starts before the actual encounter. Participants should therefore be well aware that they will be actively involved from the very beginning.
Objectives:
- To promote education as an effective tool for empowerment.
- To promote cross-sectorial cooperation in education by bridging different approaches and methods between formal and non-formal education actors
- To identify what we have in common between formal and non-formal education
- To make participants feel and reflect about the power of different educational activities used during the TC
- To fight against passivity of learners by growing curiosity and motivation to learn in any educational settings
- To reconsider our daily educational practices
The participant will be able to:
- feel and reflect about the power of different educational activities used during the training course
- analyze the role and perception of NFE in our different countries within a common Europe.- explore meanings, roles and complementary of different educational approaches (formal, non-formal, informal), to promote cross-sectorial cooperation in the educational field.
- fight against passivity of learners by growing curiosity and motivation to learn in our educational settings.
- reconsider our daily educational practices.
Transportation from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport to Hotelli Nuuksio will be arranged for selected participants. Please ensure you arrive at Helsinki Airport by 15:30 on 10.2.2025, as the bus will depart at 17:00. On the return day, the transfer will arrive at Helsinki Airport by 10:00.

- To have the motivation to put into question our daily educational practices and to take concrete
- Actions back home to amplify the future educational impacts
- Participants should be at least 18 years old and should have a good level of English
