CONNECTING PATHWAYS: ERASMUS+ MOBILITIES IN VET

TCA Description
The main idea of this seminar will be related to learners mobilities in VET, especially those related to work-based learning. Emphasis will be put on international mobilities and EQAVET quality systems.
Goals
- To allow a better knowledge of apprenticeship in different countries;
- To know which types of mobilities (including international opportunities) are adapted to VET in order to improve the quality of student mobilities;
- To integrate EQAVET principles and tools to enhance the quality of vocational education and training (VET);
- To consolidate and/or develop partnerships between European and international VET organisations;
- To share examples of good practices
- Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the concept and implementation of Vocational Education and Training (VET) across different countries, including its structure, benefits, and challenges.
- Participants will develop strategies for designing and implementing mobility schemes tailored to the needs and objectives of VET students, aiming to enhance their learning outcomes, employability, and cross-cultural competencies.
- Participants will comprehend the fundamental principles of EQAVET and its application within the context of VET.
- Participants will engage in networking activities and collaborative discussions aimed at strengthening partnerships between VET organizations, fostering knowledge exchange, mutual support, and joint initiatives.
- Participants will share and showcase successful examples of dual VET practices and initiatives from different European countries, highlighting innovative approaches, effective partnerships, and impactful outcomes.
These three days will be filled with group discussions, workshops, and expert talks to share knowledge and best practices for apprenticeship mobilities. It will also include a taste of Seville, from the most relevant sightseeing to the food and “flamenco” dancing.
We kindly ask the participants to bring some typical food/sweets from their countries to be shared on the first day of the activity.
Partners and participants
The target group does not include newcomers. The TCA mainly targets Erasmus+ coordinators and other staff involved in mobility projects in VET providers.
