Events

The main objective of the seminar is to increase the understanding and awareness of participation in democratic life (horizontal priority of the European Commission and the Erasmus+ 2021-2027 programme) and the usage of basic principles related to the priority in a school setting; also, to provide the representatives of the schools with practical tools to promote and raise the awareness of EU elections in their schools. International setting also creates a great opportunity for networking and enables to find new potential partners for future cooperation.  

This seminar aims to attract and engage primarily Erasmus+ beneficiaries (both Key Acation 1 – learning mobility and Key Action 2 – partnerships for cooperation) in school education field. Project coordinators / team members, school leaders and teachers from basic and upper secondary schools are welcomed to benefit from the event.  

The event content is preliminary, the organizers reserve the right to make changes to it. But our agenda includes the following:

• Guest lectures & experience stories 

• Simulation game on EU elections 

• Social activities 

• Visit to the EU Experience Center 

As the result of the event, we expect the participants to have better understanding of the horizontal priority of participation in democratic life and new practical tools of how to promote and raise the awareness of the EU elections in their schools. Not only before the EU elections but how to understand and analyse the results of the elections, as well as how do the election results affect our everyday life in the EU.
