Ability to speak different languages is a key to communication and social inclusion.
Languages are very closely linked to the development of intercultural competences, critical thinking, social and civic engagement.
During the last decades the classrooms in Europe have become more multilingual and more multicultural. Cross-border mobility, refugee-crises and pandemics have all contributed to creating a new linguistic challenges in language learning and - teaching.
It is important to see how we can reach a comprehensive approach to language teaching and learning already in early ages and include all learners in the classroom.
Language learning and -teaching is a topic where there's a lot to gain from transnational cooperation. Common methods, effective and innovative methods can be created, implemented and shared in cooperation.
