TCA Description

Themes and goals:

This contact / networking seminar aims to contribute to the discussion on the inclusion and inclusive education and bringing together SE organisations with similar interests. Inclusion is one of the priorities in modern societies. The need for different approaches in inclusion can come from very different places - cultural/linguistic differences, physical/mental abilities or something else.

On this seminar we will focus on how to include pupils with different learning abilities (and their teachers) to international cooperation projects.

The contact seminar will:

  • inspire and give new ideas to enhance the inclusive approach in classroom / kindergarten
  • helps to identify risks of uninclusive teaching methods
  • helps to find partners with similar interests for mobility or cooperation projects
  • gives an overview of Erasmus+ KA2 support mechanism as a tool for creating more inclusive classroom

Profile of participants: SE institutions wishing to develop inclusive approach / strategy / model in cooperation with international partners. Participants can be SE  teachers, directors, support personnel etc.

Expected results:

Expected results:

·         Discussions and focus on the inclusive international projects

·         Networking

·         Inspiration for the future work and European projects on the topic

·         Finding partners to initiate cooperation that will lead to applying for KA2 funding in 2023 or 2024

·         Our primary goal is that, by the end of the seminar, every participant has found a a possible KA2 partner on the subject

Additional information:

The democratic societies should seek diversity, equity, equality and non-discrimination to keep the balance and honor all the members in the society. Classrooms are one of the first places where inequality might occur as a result of gender, disability, educational difficulties, economic disadvantage or different ethnic or migrant backgrounds.

This contact seminar aims to contribute to the discussion on the inclusion and inclusive education.
