TCA Description

Themes and goals:

The conference “Best of Erasmus: Kompetenzen für die Zukunft” combines the recognition of outstanding project work with networking activities, project presentations, and a selection of workshops.

The highlight of the conference is an awarding ceremony honoring examples of good practice with the following awards:

-    European Innovative Teaching Award with European Language Label

-    National eTwinning Awards

-    Success Stories – national prize category for horizontal priorities and mobility projects

The ceremony is usually opened by a representative of the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs.

Presentations of the awarded projects and time to network will help newcomers learn from experienced Erasmus beneficiaries. The event aims to highlight the diversity of the programme, encourage participation, and inspire new institutions to join (more parts of) the programme, especially eTwinning.

Participants will be teachers and staff from early education to vocational education (VET = only if institutions are active in / interested in eTwinning!) with a strong focus on lower and higher secondary education (pupils’ age from 11-18 years)

Programme will be uploaded in June.

Expected results:
  • Presentation of successful Erasmus projects
  • Inspiration for school and teaching development through Erasmus+
  • Networking among German-speaking participants from Erasmus programme countries
  • Exchange between Erasmus newcomers and experienced programme teachers
  • Practical tips for implementing Erasmus projects
  • Introduction to funding opportunities within the Erasmus programme
  • Introduction to eTwinning
  • Answers to individual questions regarding the application and implementation of Erasmus projects
