Networking with participants from various European countries who work in the (formal) arts sector for adults.
Discussing the common challenges currently faced by arts education programmes – as providers of adult education.
Introduction to formal arts education in Flanders, Belgium.
Be inspired by examples of good practice implemented by formal arts education providers, in combination with their role as providers of adult education.
Take part in study visits to a Belgian provider of arts education for adults and the amateur arts sector.
Discover the possibilities of Erasmus+.
Work in small groups on future joint Erasmus+ projects.
Increased interest shown by the participants in planning and applying for Adult Learner Mobility.
New partnerships established with a view to applying for and planning Adult Learner Mobility.
Shared experiences and good practice examples.
The Erasmus+ National Agency in Belgium will cover the cost of 3 nights/meals at the venue hotel + the cultural activity (from 26. October - 29. October).
Participants must attend the entire event.
The nearest airport is Brussels Airport. Trains run regularly from the airport to the city of Ghent. Transport to the hotel is to be arranged by participants themselves.
Participants are expected to be able to communicate in English.
Partners and participants
Representatives from Adult Art Education providers (non HED).
Teachers, directors, coordinators or volunteers active in a learning programme with adults in the art sector (no independent artists). The participants organisation should be eligible within Erasmus+ KA1.
Newcomers and more experienced beneficiaries interested in mobility projects.
Participants should be open to exploring inclusive ways in adult learners’ mobilities.
