Boosting group mobility among 11- and 12-year old pupils for accredited schools in primary education
Main Info
TCA Description
Erasmus+ offfers group mobility of pupils for primary (and other) schools, allowing groups of two ore more pupils (+ accompanying staff) to visit partner schools abroad for 2 to 30 days, focusing on shared learning. These mobilities, part of Key Action 1, foster European values, build capacity for international cooperation, and can combine physical visits with virtual activities. Organizing this type of mobility poses a particular challenge for primary schools. This seminar focuses on the mobility of pupils aged 11 and 12. During this seminar, we aim to bring together accredited primary schools with and without experience in pupil mobility.
Through a variety of activities, this seminar aims to facilitate the following:
1. Addressing common possibilities and challenges in implementing Erasmus+ and eTwinning projects.
2. Discovering how eTwinng can serve as a tool for strenghtened virtual cooperation and as a tool to enhance the quality of group mobilities.
3 Networking of coordinators and expanding their networks.
4. Developing proposals for future pupil mobility.
The expected results of this seminar are a broader knowledge of and interest in pupil mobility:
-Preparation of pupil mobility
-Carrying out pupil mobility
-Following up on pupil mobility
-Participation of pupils with fewer opportunities
The format of this seminar invites to active participation, so you should be prepared to contribute and participate in discussions in English.
We expect all participants to participate in the full programme. If you exceptionally need to leave before the programme is finished, this should be approved by the Flemish NA prior to participation.
