In some countries, like in Flanders, dual learning in Initial Vocational Education and Training is still being developed. This introduction can be quite challenging. The new Erasmus programme will give plenty of possibilities (both in KA1 as in KA2) for European cooperation to improve the quality of dual learning provision in initial vocational education and training. We could improve the uptake of transnational mobility for more dual learners, job shadowing in staff mobility to relevant organisations, strategic partnerships could act as network projects to learn from each other or to solve issues that some beneficiaries are confronted with.
