European Partnerships for School Development – Kick-off Meeting & Community of Practice for Approved KA240 Partnerships (Call 2026)
Main Info
TCA Description
The European Commission and the Austrian National Agency (OeAD) invite the coordinators of the approved Erasmus+ KA240 Partnerships for School Development under the 2026 call to the first European Kick-off Meeting and Community of Practice.
This Training and Cooperation Activity (TCA) is designed as an exclusive launch event for newly approved KA240 partnerships. Its main objective is to support coordinators during the initial phase of project implementation while fostering a strong European network and a sustainable Community of Practice.
The programme combines keynote presentations, interactive workshops, peer learning, networking activities, and collaborative working sessions.
Special attention will be given to fostering exchange between participating organisations, developing common approaches to project implementation, and establishing long-term collaboration between school authorities beyond the lifetime of individual projects. The seminar will also demonstrate how eTwinning and the European School Education Platform can support cooperation, dissemination, and sustainability throughout the project lifecycle. Participants will exchange experiences with peers facing similar implementation challenges.
By the end of the seminar, participants will
- have established a European network of coordinators implementing KA240 Partnerships for School Development;
- have identified approaches to maximising organisational and systemic impact; and
- have become part of a long-term European Community of Practice.
The seminar starts on Monday, 8 February 2027, with an optional guided city tour at 1:30 p.m. Registration begins at 3:00 p.m., followed by the official opening at 4:00 p.m., networking activities, and a welcome dinner.Tuesday is a full working day. The programme concludes on Wednesday, 10 February, at lunchtime.
Full participation throughout the seminar is expected.
The Austrian National Agency will cover accommodation for 2 nights (8-10 February) at the Novotel Wien Hauptbahnhof, which is also the seminar venue. All meals and the social programme during the seminar are included.
