This training seminar equips participants with essential knowledge and tools to recognize and address barriers in Erasmus+ mobility projects (KA1) in VET, focusing on engaging diverse target groups and providing effective support throughout the mobility experience. Key topics include identifying participation barriers, strategies for engaging diverse learners, preparation and support, and effective mentoring practices. Through a practical, hands-on approach that includes group work and peer learning, participants will share and explore best practices. Expert-led sessions on diversity will valuable insights, equipping participants to implement inclusive approaches in their future Erasmus+ mobility initiatives.

The seminar will be held in Salzburg, Austria. The Austrian National Agency will cover accommodation for three nights (January 12–15, 2025), as well as all meals and social/cultural activities.
Timeline:
- January 12: Arrival day with networking opportunities and a welcome dinner; programme begins around 5–6 pm.
- January 13: Full-day programme including a cultural activity and dinner.
- January 14: Full-day programme including a cultural activity and dinner.
- January 15: Departure after breakfast.
Partners and participants
This seminar is designed for coordinators, teachers and staff involved in managing Erasmus+ VET KA1 projects targeting initial VET (iVET) learners, with a particular focus on those aiming to reach and support diverse and underrepresented groups. Both experienced beneficiaries and newcomers are encouraged to participate.
