TCA Description

Themes and goals:

This capacity-building event aims to support the transformation and further development of European Adult Education  and VET providers by bringing together a diverse community of educators, trainers, practitioners, and organisations committed to promoting inclusive and learner-centred mobility opportunities.

The event will provide participants with a collaborative space to exchange experiences, explore innovative approaches, and develop practical solutions for designing and implementing high-quality learner mobility projects within the Erasmus+ programme. Through interactive sessions and peer-learning activities, participants will have the opportunity to shape personalised mobility initiatives adapted to the needs of their organisations, learners, and local contexts, while establishing valuable connections with potential partners from across Europe.

The event will bring together representatives from different European countries and sectors, fostering cooperation, networking, and knowledge-sharing between Adult Education and VET organisations. By creating opportunities for cross-sector collaboration, the seminar will support participants in developing more inclusive mobility projects that respond to the diverse learning needs of adults and vocational learners.

Expected results:

A key objective of the event is to increase the participation of learners with fewer opportunities in Erasmus+ mobility actions, particularly through KA120 and KA122. Participants will explore effective strategies for engaging learners, identifying barriers to participation, and developing supportive measures that ensure mobility opportunities are accessible, meaningful, and beneficial for all learners.

Guided by experts specialising in Erasmus+ mobility in Adult Education and Vocational Education and Training, the seminar will provide participants with practical knowledge and tools for planning, managing, and implementing quality mobility projects. Through workshops,  discussion and collaborative exercises, participants will strengthen their understanding of the Erasmus+ Quality Standards and learn how to create impactful mobility experiences that contribute to learners’ personal, social, and professional development.

The programme will also include an Expert Panel Discussion focusing on current challenges, and opportunities in the evolving landscape of education, training, and learner mobility.

The overall objective of the event is to enhance the capacity of Adult Education and VET organisations to successfully develop and participate in high-quality mobility projects. The seminar will support organisations in creating sustainable partnerships, improving project quality, and attracting a wider range of learners to European learning opportunities.

 Main objectives:

  • To provide participants with the opportunity to learn about each other’s work, approaches, and experiences within Adult Education and Vocational Education and Training contexts.
  • To create opportunities for establishing new partnerships
  • To encourage the exchange of good practices and innovative approaches in inclusive learner mobility.
  • To explore the benefits, challenges, and practical aspects of organising mobility opportunities for adult learners and VET learners.
  • To strengthen participants’ knowledge of how to design and implement high-quality mobility projects in line with Erasmus+ Quality Standards.
  • Gaining knowledge from experts in the field
